The American School Hong Kong (ASHK) project is an award-winning transformation of educational spaces, spanning 100,000 sq. ft. in Tai Po, Hong Kong. This ongoing collaboration showcases our ability to innovate in educational design, blending retail concepts with learning environments to create flexible, varied, and vibrant atmospheres.

Design Philosophy

Our approach to the ASHK project was guided by the principle of creating distinctive, multifunctional spaces that cater to the diverse needs of secondary education. We aimed to reimagine traditional educational areas, infusing them with the dynamism and flexibility often found in retail environments. This innovative blend results in spaces that are not only conducive to learning but also inspire creativity and collaboration.

Project Execution

Our team managed both the design and build aspects of this expansive project, ensuring a seamless integration of form and function. We focused on creating a clear distinction for the secondary area while maintaining cohesion with the rest of the school. The project was executed in phases, with careful attention to the specific requirements of each space, from the library to the music room and learning commons offices.
