Maryknoll Convent School Cookery Room
The Maryknoll Convent School Cookery Room project is a 2,200 sq. ft. educational space designed to inspire culinary creativity in students. Located within the school, this cookery room combines the warmth of a home kitchen with the functionality of a professional cooking space, accommodating up to 40 students per class with fully-equipped cooking stations.
Design Philosophy
Our design for the Maryknoll Convent School Cookery Room was guided by the principle that "Happiness is homemade." We aimed to create a space that mimics a home environment while empowering students to practice cooking independently. The design balances warmth, functionality, and inspiration to foster creativity and culinary skills.
Project Execution
Our team managed the design process, ensuring every detail was meticulously planned and executed. We focused on creating a space that balances functionality and inspiration, optimising the 2,200 sq. ft. area for efficient learning. The project was completed with careful attention to material selection, safety considerations, and the integration of professional-grade equipment. Throughout the execution, we maintained our vision of creating a home-like atmosphere that inspires students and facilitates their culinary education.
